The Wine
In 2003, Barbara Laithwaite and Cherry Thompson planted 4,000 vines in a hectare of the Chiltern Hills. Just 10 years later, their 2009 took top position at the prestigious Judgement of Parsons Green. The 2010 has also excelled, winning two Trophies, four medals and 91 Decanter points. You can also enjoy a glass of it at Raymond Blanc's top restaurant, Le Manoir. Barbara and Cherry’s sons have joined the team and they have planted another hectare of vines next to the first. Crafted from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, this superb 2010 is testament to both families’ dedication and the winemaking skills of Ridgeview's Roberts family. Who needs Champagne when you have English fizz this good? Chill and serve at your next celebration.
