The Wine
Lyme Bay is a small West Country winery passionate about producing delicious, award winning English wines, in Devon’s beautiful Axe Valley. This corner of East Devon enjoys a maritime climate, temperate by English standards and more often than not with a long growing season that brings out exceptional depth and expression of character in the grapes. After a comprehensive search for ideal terroir, Lyme Bay’s owners planted 26,000 vines in 2010, and their hard work was rewarded with an excellent first harvest in autumn 2014. Lime Bay Pinot Noir rosé offers a rich and refreshing palate of flavours infused with suggestions of cherries, rosehip, strawberries and cream. A delicious partner to rose veal, grilled prawns or Cornish sardines.
