The Wine
This white Burgundy comes from Albert Bichot, a family owned house dating from 1831. With around 100 hectares of vines up and down the region, they are one of the bigger players in Burgundy. In charge is Albéric Bichot, a former ‘Winemaker of the Year’ at the International Wine Challenge. What really makes the difference is that they vinify wines in house – buying grapes rather than wines from smaller growers. So what is ‘le Secret’? The terroir – the villages that grow the grapes for this award winning wine. It’s a blend from famous Saint Aubin, Meursault, Puligny Montrachet and the Hautes Côtes. Beautifully fresh and rounded with layers of stone fruit and mineral complexity, it’s perfect on its own or try with sushi or even roast chicken.

"With a Decanter Trophy, this fine white Burgundy is a major coup. Too luscious and elegant to miss"
